TVH - Loihunu
The Loihunu site is our most comfortable accommodation and is very welcoming and clean. It took the first guests in May 2006, and can accommodate upto 14 people, in a range
of well kept double rooms, some with en suite facilities.
About 10km before Viqueque, you go over two high bridges over a river, then there is a large waterfall on the left and a fishfarm on the right. You cant miss the waterfall. The dirt road to TVH Loihunu is just before the waterfall on the left.
Ensuite rooms are 35 USD with a simple breakfast.
The smaller rooms are 20USD with a simple breakfast and shared bathroom.
Dinner is typically 6USD, and might be fish or chicken with local vegetables and rice.
The food is simple and well prepared.
There is a lovely patio to sit out on the evening.
Nearby are mountainous rain forest to walk through, caves to visits, waterfalls with misty pools to swim in, and the town of Viquque.
